Campaign Communications
Working with Snavely Associates, I was the lead strategist and writer for the creative surrounding the University of Vermont's $500 million fundraising campaign. Although the campaign theme was already determined, our challenge was to come up with a concept that would celebrate UVM's unique sense of place while also tying it to exceptional achievement. I wrote the flagship case statement, several school case statements, and the elevator speech and talking points. UVM then applied this language to the campaign website and kickoff celebration.

Healthcare
Children's Hospital of Philadelphia | Campaign Communications
In partnership with Snavely Associates (now Foster Avenue), I created the message platform and key communications for the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia's $1 billion campaign--the largest in its history. I conceived and wrote a range of materials: the campaign elevator speech, the main case statement, five priority-driven case statements, portions of the website, and copy for donor-personalized microsites. I also consulted on content for the campaign video.

Patient Ed
Breastcancer.org | Multiple sections
I have been researching and writing articles and major sections for Breastcancer.org for more than a decade. My most recent assignments have focused on survivorship issues, treatments for metastatic breast cancer, and end-of-life concerns. I also have written multi-page sections on lymphedema, managing menopausal symptoms, and genetic testing.
